Everyone can contribute to the preservation of our wonderful nature in small ways: recycling, waste separation and intelligent heating and ventilation behavior are examples. As a hotel, we also want to make our contribution. We use raw materials carefully, avoid the use of harmful products and constantly review our environmental protection standards. In doing so, we work together with independent experts.
The regional origin of as many products as possible is important to us. To this end, we cooperate with food producers in the immediate vicinity. High-quality baked goods from traditional craft businesses in Böblingen, fresh eggs from farms in the area and fresh fruit and vegetables can be found on our breakfast buffet. For renovations, we engage local craftsmen whenever possible.

We like to spoil our guests while protecting the environment. How? We save 30% of energy by operating a combined Heat and Power unit (CHP). With the CHP we are able to produce energy for the heating and hot water system with less CO2 release. In CO2 terms: yearly 150 tons less CO2 is released into the atmosphere! The CHP operates hand in hand with a 145 KW wood pellet furnace, which is 30% more effective than the oil-fired heating system used before. Our electricity usage is also covered entirely by renewable energy sources. In addition we are regularly training our employees to save energy and use resources as efficiently as possible.
