Our breakfast
We offer a varied and high-quality breakfast buffet. All our foods are sourced locally. Fresh fruits in many variations as well as a large selection of bread rolls from the family-run bakery. Our front cooking station is the highlight of the morning. We purchase our eggs directly from a regional farm. This makes the scrambled eggs or the individually prepared omelette taste even better!
For us and our environment
As a hotel we want to contribute to saving our beautiful planet.
We use raw materials carefully, avoid the use of harmful products and constantly review our environmental protection standards. In so doing, we work together with independent experts.
It is important to us that our products come from local sources. We partner with food producers from the surrounding area. You will find high-quality baked goods from traditional bakeries, fresh eggs from local farms, and fresh fruits and vegetables on our breakfast buffet. For any renovations, we always engage local craftsmen whenever possible.
We pamper our guests while protecting the environment. This is possible because we save over 30% of energy costs with our own combined heat and power plant. This system generates heat for heating and hot water in a CO2 saving manner. As a result, we release 150 tons less carbon dioxide into the atmosphere each year. Our combined heat and power plant is complemented by a 145kW wood pellet heating system, which is 30% more effective than our previous oil heating. Our electricity needs are also covered by renewable energy sources. Our employees regularly receive training on how to perform their tasks in an energy-efficient and resource-conserving manner.
